Love, Sex & Drunk-texts (2012)

My name is Matthew Thomas and I've made some unremarkable choices in women throughout my life. Love, Sex and DrunkTexts is an illustrated memoir filled with unapologetic one-liners, texts-message break-ups and actual self-serving truths spouted across failed relationships. Referencing art and pop-culture icons of the 80‘s, 90‘s and 2000‘s, this books is a tell-all of my personal struggles as an artistic man-child evading marital and social-caste entrapment. Love spreads the angst over social qualms with rants about the prominence of the jobless American male, the importance of porn, the reversal of modern gender roles and pretending to be “well adjusted” and tolerant of others. Originally created as a blog of over 300 illustrations, LSDT is currently available as a 112 page book of my life as an educated-poor, 30 something male in the digital age.
